I am a little embarissed with myself, I was expecting a developing nation, but Costa Rica is very much a first world countery. I feel like a bit of a tool.
We just arived at Montaverde. It is a clowd forest and we are going to take a hike through it tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn, then go ziplining through the canopy. We are all excited about it, but Roxy in particular is thrilled.
We had a bit of drama on the way here. We took a van from Montazuma to the boat, where our driver told us that two more vans would be waiting: one for Montaverde and one for San Jose. When we got to the other side of the bay however, the Montaverday van was not there and the driver to San Jose desided that it was not his problem. Caleb steped up and made some angry phone calls and we wound up getting the travel agency to send a car for us, so it worked our fine in the end. Roxy commented that that was the best kind of setback to have; it gives you a story but doen´t leave you totally screwed.
Montazuma was exactly what Roxy and I needed after our crazyness with moving, quitting my job, and the stress that goes along with those things. I day and a half of warm oceans, palm trees, hammocks, and reading. It was perfactly relaxing.
I see that I have done this post in reverce cronilogical order... oh well, some times it´s good to defy Time, just to remind it that it isn´t your boss.
