Would You Like Some Cheese To Go With That...

I haven't slept well in over a week. I just lie in bed sweating. And not just a little bit either, I sweat like I just ran three miles in the heat. I soak the pillow, the sheets and the mattress. When I get up in the morning the whole bed is wet. Last night and the night before the power went out for over an hour and so the fans died. It got so hot that it actually woke me up. The night time low is about 85 deg. the highs have been sitting at about 105 with a 40% humidity.

We haven't got a fridge yet so there is no way to cool off if you're hot. All the drinking water at our apartment is about 95 deg. all the time. We can't get a air conditioner. They cost about $600 and we'll only need it for another month or so. Totally not worth it.

There is no escape.

  1. yeaaaahhhh.... EFF THAT! You guys will stick it out though, you have the will to do it. :D At least that seems like the only major problem right now. Could you buy the AC and then sell it before you leave?

  2. That sounds unbearable. I admire your stamina. Are there any air-conditioned buildings at school?

  3. Man, that is balls. That Mother Nature really is a piece of work. I'm gonna run my AC extra long just for you guys. It's like pouring one out, but with deliciously cool air.

  4. A real man, a real Jordan, would suck it up and say "Screw you, 105 deg. temperature. You may be hot and all, but you're not going to make me sweat. I will not succumb to your tyranny."

But then, I'm not a Jordan, so what do I know about the rules.

  5. lol Jordan (not Davis) you are a bastard. I bet they wish they had a cold one to pour out... onto their heads to cool off.

It's funny, cuz when Jordan (Davis) mentioned not having a fridge to stay cool, I imagined him and Roxy opening the door and basking in it's cool coolness.

Hang in their guys! You can always go swim in that river with 10,000 other people! I'm sure the temperature of the water will be like 80 what with all the little kids peeing an all.

    Woot!
